GameSir Z1 FPS DOCK Firmware Update Tutorial for Android


Please note:
1.The devices used for GameSir Z1 FPS DOCK firmware update must be Android phones / tablets with non-MTK-chip.
2.Please fully charge GameSir Z1 and Android device before the update.
3.If the current firmware version of GameSir Z1 is lower than 3216, update the firmware to version 3216 with GameSir G-Crux APP.
4.The FPS DOCK firmware update includes two parts: Bluetooth firmware update and MCU firmware update.

Step 1 Turn on Bluetooth on your Android device and connect to GameSir Z1.


Step 2 Launch FPS DOCK APP and click “Keep running in background”, when “New firmware detected, ready for upgrade ****” prompt pops up, please click “Confirm” button.



Step 3 Do not turn off the Z1 or phone screen during the firmware update, otherwise Z1 will be damaged. It takes 5-10 minutes for the firmware update. Please click “Confirm” button after the update is complete.



Step 4 After the Bluetooth firmware update is complete, the MCU firmware will upgrade automatically. It takes 3-5 seconds, click “Confirm” button after the upgrade is complete.

Please note:
If the MCU firmware does not upgrade automatically, you need to disconnect Z1 and delete the pairing data of Z1 in Bluetooth setting. Then turn off FPS DOCK APP in the background. At last, reconnect Z1 to Android device via Bluetooth and launch FPS DOCK APP, the MCU firmware will upgrade automatically.



Step 5 Disconnect Z1 and delete the pairing data of Z1 in Bluetooth setting. Turn off FPS DOCK APP in the background. Then restart Z1, the FPS DOCK firmware update is complete.
