About Device Renaming
Why rename the device
Some games may use a device name to determine whether a third-party device is used, and the device rename function is a solution to this problem.
How to rename a device
Note: The device rename currently only supports G-Touch mode of G6 (firmware version 1.22 and above).
In G-Touch mode, click the device name to pop up the window to modify the device name. Enter 4-16 letters and numbers in the input box, and click OK to modify the device name.

Q: How to restore the default name after renaming?
A: There are two ways to restore the default name, one is to restore the default name in G-Crux, and the other is to restore the default name through the gamepad:
① If the device name has been modified, enter G-Crux, click the device name button on the homepage, and then click Restore Default to restore the default name.
② Press and hold Y + HOME to turn on the gamepad, and then long press R1 + X + HOME. After 3 seconds, the first LED light in the gamepad will change color continuously. At this time, release all the keys again, and the gamepad will return to its default name.
